Okay the food was so good for breakfast! The place was packed at 9:30 am and was packed out the door when we left. Decorated to the hilt. The service was good but they were worked out. Would go back again. The French toast Halla bread was awesome and the fruit good. I did d not pay but will next time.

Lovely diner on the South Shore of Long Island. Always so festive, and never a complaint on the food. The staff is very friendly and always asking how you are doing. Family owned and run for generations. At times coffee needs to be made fresh but other than that four stars for sure. Great place to hold small to mid size parties. Reasonable prices across the menu.

One of the few truly solid diners left on the Island. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is consistently done to the nines. We especially love going during Christmas — it’s heavily decorated, festive, and the kids absolutely love it. The food is always fresh, and the quality has remained impressively consistent over the years. A reliable, classic diner experience that’s getting harder and harder to find.

The first time I went here it was Christmas time. Oh the decorations! The atmosphere was so inviting, we just wanted sit in there and enjoy the space. Food was good, but the atmosphere change was the best Went for lunch recently and they decorated for Halloween, be prepared.

I had never heard of this restaurant and when I stepped inside my mind was blown! Wow ! Loved how they made the venue different in a good day. Amazing ! The waitress was perfectly attentive and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. Coleslaw and pickle was delivered for all of us and the meals were huge. Felt catered for, we left full and happy. Well done ! We found a gem there

Being from Nassau we were unfamiliar with the goings on at this Diner. Driving back west late on a Saturday morning we slowed as we passed and the parking lot appeared nearly full, so we figured it might be decent and we went in. We were immediately struck by the décor as it was nearly a duplicate of the Embassy Diner in Bethpage, that we frequent closer to home. We mentioned this to the hostess who said she lives near us, and the place was run by the same management. Small world. So how was it, you might ask. While the place was bustling the service was incredibly attentive, courteous, and prompt. When I added an item to our order with our server Carlos, it was handled without any fuss or attitude. Our breakfast was delivered exactly as ordered; was hot, fresh, and simply delicious. Factoring in the rampant inflation of the past four years the prices were reasonable. We’ll be back next trip through Islip.

This diner is decorated to the nines for every holiday. Went here this past Sunday, and it’s fall themed now with Halloween and a little of Thanksgiving. It was beautiful. Went here last year during Christmas time and it was even better if you could believe that. Good was okay, diner food. We had breakfast. I was taken back at the upcharge it is to add cheese to an omelette. I ordered the artichoke hearts omelette which on this September 2025 Sunday it was $14, and to add cheddar cheese into the omelette it was $18 total!! $4 for cheese is a little absurd if you ask me. $4 for adding bacon into the omelette would’ve been fine, but I didn’t ask for that so I didn’t receive that, but I couldn’t imagine what the upcharge for that is! Omelette came with home fries and toast. I got wheat. Comes delivered with salted butter. Home fries were okay. Need to add salt and pepper yourself but they could’ve been a tad crispier. My partner got two eggs over easy with bacon and home fries and white toast. It was standard. Nothing special to point out. Same thought with the toast. Got a coffee and a chocolate milk. Chocolate milk was not the standard diner chocolate-y milk. Coffee was average. Total with tax $44. Would only come again for legit the decorations.

Food was good, service was great, menu had a big variety and the place was decorated really nice for St Patrick's Day. I thought it was a little pricey for a diner (hotdogs were $27 on the dinner menu) but I would still go back. I had the beef goulash and it was very good.
